Come unwind, laugh and
have some fun with the ladies. It is time for our monthly MNO! Let's meet at

I found this new Totally Pregnant Services App and think
it looks good. I don't work for the company but am interested in new
apps for families. I see a lot of them but this looks more professional than
many of the others. The question still remains the same for me. Do we
really need an app for everything? Also, where do they get their
information and money to create the app?
I will keep looking into these apps to see just how much
commercialism is involved. I get a little tired of the spammy, scammy family
sites, apps and everything in-between. Yes, this blog was started because our
company was started from a tradition and we have many opportunities that come our
way that I want to share but I still think that the MOMS business has become
too impersonal and much less authentic than it used to be.
Choosing the right name for your baby can be a tricky thing.
You want a name that’s unconventional, but not peculiar. You want a name that’s
traditional, but not completely out of fashion. You want something that
resonates, goes well with the last name, and appeals to both your friends and
your family. Parents have their own personal motivations when it comes down to
naming a child. Some of them prefer Biblical names, some love
the names of The Sixties,
and sometimes it’s as simple as liking names starting with J.
While there have been thousands of books written about baby
names, and you can currently browse almost as many websites offering various
lists, all of these resources only offer plain information about origins,
meanings, pronunciation, etymology, and other facts that are interesting to
read, but in their great passivity are unable to help with the final decision.
Belly Ballot, a social media baby naming website, makes baby
naming fun. Social baby naming is a new, truly amazing phenomenon that opens
the door to a more interactive, creative and fun way to find the perfect name
for your child. People around you, your friends and family, they are all given
the chance to be a part of the decision process. Social baby naming has many
advantages compared to relying on a book or a typical name webpage. It is
easily accessible to anyone with an Internet connection, via Facebook, Twitter
or Instagram; it integrates voices from all over the world, be it your family
living in Europe or a complete a complete stranger from Australia; and it
generates new names and new ideas you would originally never think of yourself.
On top of all the fun interacting with your social media
friends, there’s always a chance for the soon-to-be moms to win a prize. The
latest, most exciting prize that women on Belly Ballot went crazy about was a Juju Band. Thousands of moms searched
through different baby names, created their ballots and according to their
comments, they couldn’t wait to win this great helper to relieve the baby’s colic
symptoms and abdominal pain. And it is that easy – all you need to do is to
create your ballot, get the most votes, and the prize is yours!
Baby Nautique is an online nautical baby boutique,
featuring affordably priced higher end baby clothing, accessories and nursery décor. Although we most
definitely consider ourselves a nautical-themed boutique, not all of our items
necessarily have sailboats, fish or crabs on them. Many simply have classic Breton red or
blue stripes and have that sailor-type feel to them, but aren’t overtly nautical. We
pride ourselves on featuring high quality, timeless pieces – and all are perfect for
Growing up in a waterfront community on Long Island, I
have always loved the beach, boating and everything with a nautical flair. So
when my husband and I found out in April of 2012 that the little baby I was
carrying was a BOY, I knew immediately that I wanted the theme for his nursery to be
classic nautical with a modern twist. While I searched high and low for
beautiful, quality products for my seafaring baby boy, it dawned on me that there wasn't
just one singular place I could go to for all of my water-themed baby needs. Right around
the time my handsome little man turned one year old in 2013, I knew it was
time to take the plunge into the world of baby fashion and create a one-stop shop for moms
who want to spoil their nautical baby with quality affordable items. Baby
Nautique was born.
As of now, we carry baby clothing, accessories and décor.
We have the most darling dresses, rompers, sweaters, socks and more! Our nursery
items are especially affordable. Check out our five-pack of nautical muslin
cloths, which can be used as burp cloths, swaddling blankets, changing mats and more -
for only $29! This is a truly excellent find. We hope that once we really
establish ourselves in the industry, we might expand to a line of nautical toys, nightwear and
What separates Baby Nautique from other boutiques is our
nautical flair, as well as our nursery décor collection. No other baby boutique
that we know of carries exclusively nautical-themed clothing, accessories and
nursery décor. Our products are elegant yet perfect for the tiniest of tots. We also
offer 24 hour/seven days a week service. Even if you email us on a Sunday evening, I
